Don't you dare throw this snowball.

Everything
about a Hostess Sno Ball — chocolate cake filled with marshmallow creme
and covered in shredded coconut — is wonderful. But when you grow up,
you learn that a store-bought dessert, especially one wrapped in
plastic, is never quite as good as a freshly baked one. So I made my
own.
Before
the bowl goes into the oven, you need to make the marshmallow
cheesecake filling. I know there's no cream cheese involved in the
original little cakes, but no one will care. The cheesecake filling is
way easier to just dump in the middle of the batter than cutting the
baked cake and filling it with fluff after the fact. Plus, it's
MARSHMALLOW CHEESECAKE. Covered in fluff frosting and coconut (both pink), the finished snowball is straight-up nostalgia.
