According to Morris, it took her a total of 10 days to make the dress
and she actually built it (baked it?) right inside her home.
Thankfully, her front doors were wide enough so that when she completed
her work, she and a group of 6 other people were able to transport the
dress from her home to the show.

The cake was exhibited at London’s Cake International which is a
trade show that recognizes the most talented bakers and gives them a
chance to showcase some of their sugary art. Morris states, “We were
asked to choose a wedding dress designer and make a cake based on one of
the wedding dresses. I was asked to make the only life-size wedding
dress and chose Mak Tumang as his designs stopped me in my tracks. They
are simply incredible.”
Designer Mak Tumang made a special appearance at the show and even
posed for a photo with Morris and her beautiful gown. He looked pleased
with Morris, and why shouldn’t he be? As they say: imitation is the
sincerest form of flattery.
