Forget
peanut butter and jelly. Peanut butter and chocolate is the best
combination of all time. Hands down, end of story. If you agree, which I
suspect many of you Reese's loving people do, then you desperately need
to know about Buckeye Brownies. They will change the way you'll make
brownies forever.
[post_ads]This recipe is inspired by
the famous Ohio confections. Traditional buckeyes are sweet, candy-like
peanut butter balls dipped in melted chocolate. They look like the nut
of a buckeye tree, hence the name. If you've ever had one, you know
they're amazing. They taste like a peanut butter cup, but the PB ratio
is way higher (aka better). The peanut butter layer in these brownies is
basically like the filling of classic buckeyes. Can you even?

The brownie itself can be
whatever brownie recipe your heart desires. But because you're making
two more layers, I recommend just starting with a box mix. No one will
care or notice. The glossy ganache topping the third and final layer
which really puts the whole thing over the edge, in a totally glorious
way.
Full disclosure: These are very indulgent. You really only need a bite. (But we both know that's just about impossible.)
