Some people do yoga to relax. We watch cake-decorating videos.

Whether you think this cake with swirls of pastel frosting by Alana Kysar
looks like a fuzzy sweater pattern or a psychedelic cake trip, it's
definitely the most mesmerizing thing we've watched all week.

Alana Kysar who runs the blog Fix Feast Flair, shared how to recreate this beautiful piece of cake
art at home with us, and thankfully it's way easier than it looks.
"After the crumb coat, the actual decorating time wasn't more than 10
minutes," she said.
To
get the look, she used three different colors of frosting and piped them
onto a yellow cake with vanilla buttercream using a round tip (Wilton
12) and two open star tips (Ateco 32 and Wilton 21).
"The
pattern was freeform," Kysar said. "I started with the pink buttercream
and one of the star tips and piped wherever I thought might look nice.
After that I picked up the next color and tip and filled in more and
repeated with the last color and tip!"
Guess we know what we'll be doing this weekend!
