rectangular chocolate treat of your childhood to today's tricked-out
takes in every flavor imaginable, there are so many ways to enjoy
everyone's favorite treat. And now, just when we thought they couldn't
get any crazier, baker By Brogen
has gone and topped everything with an ice cream sandwich-shaped cake
that looks real enough to melt — except this one won't give you brain
freeze.
The over-the-top creation consists of real giant chocolate chip cookies and double chocolate mud cakes frosted in mint chocolate chip "ice cream" buttercream
on the bottom and strawberry sponge cakes covered in strawberry "ice
cream" buttercream for the middle tier. To top it all off, Brogen added a
"scoop" of strawberry and vanilla sponge cake with vanilla bean
buttercream frosting — plus chocolate fudge and sprinkles, naturally.

Watching
the whole thing come together is mesmerizing (probably why the video
has garnered more than 30,000 views in one day), and it has us craving
the cake version of the frozen dessert. In her Instagram caption, Brogen
calls the finished product a "total food coma," and we couldn't agree
more.
