They are lying because they are not cakes, they are VegedecoSalad cakes
and they are made entirely of vegetables. In fact, their creator,
Japanese food designer Mitsuki Moriyasu, aimed to "combine health and
beauty" with these soy flour and vegetable concoctions, which are only
available at two cafes in Japan now.

The cakes are popular with "women who particularly
care about their health and beauty and to men who want to build up their
body," the site (which BTW abandons calling these "cakes" by the end of
the press release and just says "salads") reads. They are also
available to order for birthday parties…
