Forget the election—this is the real issue dividing the nation.
There have been a fair share of wedding cake trends over the years. From stunning geode cakes to controversial naked cakes,
there seems to be something new happening in the world of wedding cakes
every time you turn around. So what’s the latest cake design everyone’s
talking about? Camo wedding cakes.

The camo wedding cake often gets a "his and hers" treatment with the
camouflage pattern on one side and the traditional wedding cake on the
other. While that sounds like a fun idea, you’ll have to decide how you
feel about some of the versions that have been floating around the
internet. For instance, what exactly is going on here?
This take on the trend features flowers. I love a good floral cake, but when it already has two patterns and a festive topper, your eyes don’t know where to look first.
The camo wedding cake isn’t a total bust though. When a woodsy pattern and traditional white frosting are combined within each layer, the results are pretty neat:

In another hit version of the camo cake, each layer just has a small band of the pattern, creating a subtle yet pretty effect.
