If you’re ready to shout "THERE’S NOTHING BETTER THAN PUMPKIN PIE!" I get it. People have very strong feelings (some nicer than others) about the autumnal American treat. But before you get all traditional on me, expand your mind to the idea of a pumpkin pie made with cake batter instead of piecrust. Still with me? Thought so. This Pumpkin Pie Cake is technically a "magic cake," the latest Pinterest dessert obsession.

 The "magic" is that you — get this — pour the cake batter into your prepared baking dish and then pour your pumpkin pie filling layer on top of that ... and then bake. No stirring. The result is a pumpkin pie center with a cake crust; in other words, the most magical combination for a fall dessert.
